Township board approves Lookout Lane project

IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP — The Ironwood Township Board of Trustees added resurfacing work on a section of Lookout Lane as part of the township’s construction schedule Monday, on the condition the Bessemer Township board of trustees also contributes to the project.

According to information presented to the board, the costs of the project will be split three ways, among the two townships and the county road commission. The residents living on the road will also contribute the project, lowering the cost to both townships.
