Iron County officials file election papers

HURLEY — With the passage of the June 1 filing deadline for candidates running in August’s partisan primary, it appears several county incumbents will be running for re-election unopposed — although a number of candidates have filed to run for Iron County’s district attorney office.

According to the Iron County Clerk’s office, Clerk Michael Saari and Register of Deeds Daniel Soine were both the only two file papers in their respective races.
