Heritage Day brings history to forefront

HURLEY - Folks of all ages experienced life before the turn of 20th century during Heritage Day Friday, presented by the Iron County Historical Society at its museum in Hurley.

The historical society is marking its 50th anniversary this year and celebrated with a slate of activities this past week, helping begin the annual Iron County Heritage Festival.

At the museum on Friday, a blacksmith, a broom maker and weavers demonstrated their talents during an open house.
