Ironwood — The Historic Ironwood Theatre is showing Warren Miller’s latest movie, Here There and Everywhere on Nov. 26 at 7:30 p.m. for fifteen dollars. Miller, camera in hand for the past 67 years, has awed audiences world wide with skiing adventures most people lack the imagination to even dream of.
The movie showcases the talent of JT Holmes, Jeremy Jones, Grette Eliassen, Collin Collins, Ingrid Backstrom, Tyler Ceccanti, Wendy Fisher, and more as they travel to Alaska, Montana’s Glacier County, Deer Valley, Greenland, and Switzerland.
Warren tells yarns in the film regarding skiing and the people involved over the years in his movies, bringing audiences to virgin powder and steep slopes with his camera and a soundtrack.
The Snow Country Ski Club, formerly known as the Ironwood Ski Devils is bringing the film to Ironwood. The school ceased funding the program, so parents, the kids themselves, and volunteers fundraise to keep the dream alive for young area skiers.
This fundraiser helps cover travel expenses, lift tickets, equipment, coaching and those costs that rear their head but must be paid. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
