IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Carol Lynn Sell, 56, of MacDonald Lane, Ironwood Township, formerly of Marenisco, originally from Blissfield, died unexpectedly on Monday, Feb. 20, 2017.
She was born May 25, 1960, in Adrian, the daughter of the late Marvin and Alice Sell.
Carol attended school in Onsted. As a young girl she saw her father build a golf course in the Irish Hills of Michigan into the Irish Hills Sports Park-Ski Resort. You would see Carol helping out around the grill with her sister, Claudia.
Carol attended Sienna Heights College in Adrian, where she lived for years.
Carol’s life was grounded in the Christian faith. She attended All Saints Lutheran Church and was active in numerous church activities. Carol enjoyed skiing and golf. Despite health issues over the last several years, Carol made it a point of taking care of family the best she could.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Claudia; her mother, Alice; and her father, Marvin Gene.
Carol is survived by two brothers, Gary, of Adrian, and David, of Onsted.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Range Funeral Service and Crematory, Frick-Zielinski Funeral Home of Bessemer is assisting the family with arrangements.
