Missing New London man found in Iron County

HURLEY — The search for a missing New London, Wis., man ended Wednesday morning after he was found by a Hurley Police Department officer.

According to an Iron County Sheriff’s Department news release, the department received a report of the missing 71 year old at 7:06 a.m., Wednesday. The man, who had a possible medical condition, was last seen near Mosinee Road in the town of Oma.

According to the post, he had been alone at his cabin and hadn’t been heard from since Tuesday afternoon.
