Hurley celebrates end of summertime

HURLEY — Hurley’s salute to the end of the summer and the coming of a new school year kicks off on Saturday morning.

Festival Italiano will feature plenty of music and new events for all ages under the auspices of the Hurley Chamber of Commerce.

A two-mile Dago Dash begins at 8 a.m., raising funds for the Hurley cross country team.

A Human Foosball tournament begins at 10 a.m. and three-on-three basketball play begins at 10 a.m.

There will be a craft show from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., when vendors will be lined up along Silver Street, including offering plenty of food.
