Donna Elaine Tourville

BESSEMER, Mich. - Donna Elaine Tourville, 84, peacefully passed away on Nov. 9, 2017, surrounded by family after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer.

She was born July 13, 1933, in Milwaukee, to her father, Wenzel Bochek, and mother, Irene (Kihslinger) Bochek.

Donna was a dedicated military spouse to her husband of 56 years, Robert James Tourville, and mother to six children. Donna was a retired LPN of 22 years, having worked at both Grand View Hospital and Gogebic County Medical Care Center. She was an active volunteer in her community with multiple philanthropic organizations.

Donna was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and friend to many who always went above and beyond to help others in times of need. She was a talented seamstress who loved crafting, baking and travel. She traveled and lived around the world and settled in Bessemer with her family in 1972.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband Robert J Tourville; brother, Eugene Bochek, and sister, Joyce Berns.

She is survived by her brother, Robert Bochek; children, Marc (Camille) Tourville, Scott Tourville, Todd Tourville, Dale (Melissa) Tourville, Joel (Dixie) Tourville and Anne (Michael) Thurston; 15 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Per her wishes, Donna has been cremated.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Sebastian Catholic Church on Monday at 10 a.m. Rev. Dominic Agyapong will be the celebrant. Donna's family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. A luncheon will follow in the parish hall.
