She married the love of her life, Anthony Louis Remondino, on Nov. 25, 1950, and was devoted to him all the days of her life.

They came to Ardmore in August of 1970, previously living in Opelika, Ala.

When they moved to Ardmore, she remained in the home to raise their four children. As time moved forward, she worked at Exchange National Bank for many years and retired from there.

Shirley was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, serving as a communion minister, St. Mary's Women's Club and serving those in need. She took great pride in being a servant to her church, community and helping others.

Shirley loved life. She enjoyed playing Bridge, dominos, bunko and pinochle with her friends. She liked to watch football and the Thunder basketball team. She also was an ice skater in her younger years and taught Sunday School to the first grade.

She and Louie loved dancing and were members of the TLF Dance Club. Shirley and Louie went out to eat every Friday night with their Friday night group for years. She had lunch every week with her friends and it was always such a joy!

Above all, she was committed and devoted to her faith, family and friends. Shirley was a kind-hearted, loving woman and it was always a pleasure to be in her company.
