Bessemer death identified as Minnesota woman

BESSEMER — On Wednesday the Gogebic County Sheriff’s Department released the identify of a woman who was found dead in Bessemer last week.

Quinn Erin Archer, 31, of Detroit Lakes, was found Dec. 11 in a house on the 1600 block of South Hadley Street in the city after Gogebic County Sheriff’s Department deputies received a 911 call at 1:20 p.m.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found an unresponsive woman, later identified as Archer.

According to the department’s Wednesday release, the investigation is continuing pending the results of an autopsy.

“The matter remains under investigation with no suspects or arrests at this time,” Gogebic County Prosecutor Nick Jacobs told the Daily Globe.
