HURLEY — The Hurley City Council Tuesday granted a Combination Class B beer and liquor license to the former Snow Country Inn on U.S. 51.
The license was approved for Huber Hotels, doing business as Travelodge LLC, Robert Huber agent, at 1000 Tenth Ave. N.
The council also granted a restaurant license to Spiders Sports Bar, 219 Silver St.
Council members decided to change the meeting times to an hour earlier. Committee meetings will begin at 5 p.m. and the regular city council sessions will begin at 5:30 p.m. No one attending the meeting objected to the new arrangement.
