Ironwood man pleads to manslaughter, drug charges

BESSEMER — An Ironwood man pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and delivery of a controlled substance-morphine charges in Gogebic County Circuit Court Thursday.

Bo Lee Menara, 37, pleaded guilty to the charges in relation to the death of Angela Mylly in September.

Menara caused Mylly’s death by delivering excessive doses of morphine, according to court documents.

The delivery of a controlled substance charge is a 20-year felony, while the manslaughter charge carries a potential maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
