BESSEMER - The snow is gone and the sun is out, it must be time for garage sales and losing that winter coat in the Upper Peninsula. The city of Bessemer kicked off garage sale season with its annual all city garage sale Saturday.
Driving around Bessemer Saturday morning it was common to see a line of vehicles parked on the side of the road outside the open garages. Moving between sales, the same people and cars were witnessed migrating along, looking for deals or an upgrade on something they already have or even to replace that which was broken...
