MacPherson wins IPSD contest

IRONWOOD PUBLIC Safety Department Director Gregory Klecker gives a certificate of appreciation to Chelsea MacPherson Tuesday for designing the department's new patch. MacPherson's design was one of roughly nine the public sent into the department to be voted on by the public.

IRONWOOD - Chelsea MacPherson, from Bessemer, is the winner of the Ironwood Public Safety new patch contest.

"The renderings we received were posted for viewing by members of the community and Ironwood Public Safety and voted on. The entries we received were outstanding," said IPSD Director Gregory Klecker.

MacPherson, a local freelance graphic designer who recently moved to the Gogebic Range from California, was pleased to discover hers was the most popular design.
