FRISCO, Texas — Laverne Francis Brown, 95, of Frisco, passed away on June 2, 2018. She was born on Aug. 13, 1922, in Wakefield, Mich., to Mary Elizabeth (Pezzetti) and Mose Giansante.
On Oct. 8, 1949, Laverne married Lyle William Brown. They resided in Hancock, Mich., until 1978 when they moved to Murrieta, Calif. In 2004, Mrs. Brown moved to Frisco.
Laverne is survived by her daughter, Susan Moe, and son, Patrick Brown and his wife, Kay; three grandchildren, Christopher Moe, Andrea Brown, and Mary Brown; three step-grandchildren, Melissa Lynn Martin and her husband David, Douglas Schilly and his wife, Bonnie, and James Schilly; and five step-great-grandchildren, Todd Alexander, Shawn Alexander, Megan Schilly, Morgan Schilly and Wesley Schilly.
Laverne was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Harold Giansanti.
Family and friends were invited to a visitation at Murrieta Valley Funeral Home, Murrieta, on Thursday, June 14, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
