Anthony "Tony" J. Isham Jr., "zoongidé éwinini, "Strong-hearted man," age 26, of Minnesota, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018, at his residence.
Tony was born Dec. 18, 1991, in Duluth, Minn., the son of Anthony Isham Sr. and Christina DeVerney.
He was united in marriage to Tawnie Demaray on Oct. 6, 2015, in Watersmeet, Mich.
Surviving are his daughters, Maddie Isham, Brookston, Minn., and Wynter Isham, Marquette, Mich .; sons, Brayden Isham, Brookston, Zayden Isham, Tipler, Wis., and Zavier Isham, Tipler; sisters, Cheyanne Blair, Kaukauna, Wis., and Melissa Blair, Houston; special friend, Leah Blair; stepfather, James Blair; and his extended family, the Crawfords.
Honorary pallbearers include Tristan Hazen, Patrick Hazen III, John McGeshick III, Vinny Kashich, Richard Williams, Troy Stumblingbear and Ryan Wamego. Firekeepers are Ty Nagel, Roman Rivera, Randal, Brian Aimsback, Brandon Aimsback and Nat Jones.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Christina; sisters, Allison Isham and Shana Rae Isham; and grandmother, Wanda Pete DeVerney.
Services were held on Friday, Aug. 24, at the Potawatomi Recreational Center in Crandon with Hartford Shegonee officiating. Visitation was held Thursday, Aug. 23, at the Potawatomi Recreational Center.
