HURLEY  - Hurley's Silver Street was closed to traffic Saturday as the people marked the city's annual Festival Italiano.

The festival, sponsored by the Hurley Area Chamber of Commerce, celebrates all things Italian and the Gogebic Range's Italian heritage.

Hundreds of people gathered on Silver Street to enjoy the fun - which included food booths, kid games, face painting, an arts and craft show, antique and flea market, 3-on-3 basketball and bags tournaments, the 2-mile Dago Dash, a human foosball tournament, street dancing and more.
