Talaska wins probate judge race

BESSEMER — Bessemer attorney Anna Talaska will be Gogebic County’s new probate judge after she won Tuesday’s mid-term election.

Talaska received 3,948 votes, while Gogebic County Chief Assistant Prosecutor Tracie Wittla received 2,080 votes.

The two faced off in the non-partisan race Tuesday after advancing as the top two vote-getters in the August primary.
