Hurley man pleads to Gogebic weapons charge

BESSEMER — A Hurley resident pleaded guilty to a reduced weapons charge in Gogebic County Circuit Court Tuesday.

Christopher James Michelic, 22, pleaded to attempted possession of a dangerous weapon, a felony with a potential maximum sentence of 2.5 years in prison.

The plea came as part of a plea agreement that had the charge reduced from possession of a dangerous weapon.
