Guy Richard Tilton

HURLEY, Wis. - Guy Richard Tilton Sr., 67, of Hurley, passed away on Jan. 10, 2019, at his home.

Guy was born on Sept. 25, 1951, in Ironwood, Mich., to William James Tilton and Rosemary (Wiita) Tilton. He was a 1969 graduate of J.E. Murphy High School. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Army. He was a lifelong construction worker. He enjoyed time with his family and was especially proud of his grandson, Kaden. He also liked hunting, fishing and working in his garden.

He will be sadly missed by his son, Guy R. Tilton Jr., of Hurley; grandson, Kaden Tilton; Carlene's son, Jimmy Thornsberry; siblings, Terri (Richard) Jerow, of Saxon, and William (Pam) Tilton; nieces and nephews, Tracy, David, Justin, Billy, Jeremy; dear friends, Bob D'Antonio, Dave Stella and Steve Chatterson and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his "Tweetie," Carlene Dull.

There will be a celebration of life for Guy this coming summer.
