Edward Roland Huhtala

IRONWOOD, Mich. - Edward Roland Huhtala, 77, of Saxon, passed away on Jan. 17, 2019.

Edward was born on July 9, 1941 in Saxon to Lauri and Aune (Rinta) Huhtala. He was a graduate of Saxon High School and Northland College in Ashland, Wis. He was a long-time employee of Memorial Medical Center in Ashland. He was a resident of Saxon most of his life until 1995 when he moved to Wakefield.

He is survived by his sister, Charlotte Huhtala, of Ironwood, as well as many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Norma Marie Dezingas.

In accordance with his wishes, a private service will be held.
