Polar Plungers pursuing pledges

WAKEFIELD — Regional Hospice will host its 13th annual Polar Plunge on Saturday, March 9, in Sunday Lake at Wakefield.

Organizers are asking members of the public — those willing to jump — to solicit pledges in support of their leap. The pre-registration deadline is Feb. 20 to receive a T-shirt, but registration remains open until the day of the Plunge.

Plunge-day registration opens at 10:30 a.m. at the Wakefield VFW and ends at 11.

The Plunge into Sunday Lake will begin at noon.

A warm-up social will follow at the VFW. Food will be served for a nominal fee.
