She was a lifelong member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and always enjoyed reading the Bible and getting visits from her pastor.

Sherry leaves behind two sisters, Jean Petranek, Omaha, Neb., and Robin (Dick) Adams, Ramsay; and a brother, Ross (Paula) Solberg, Bessemer. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews; her three aunts; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Solberg, in 1997; and her mother, Ethel (Niemela) Solberg, in 2007.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 9, at 11 a.m., preceded by visitation at 10 a.m., at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Ramsay, with the Rev. Timothy J. Steckling officiating.
