Ramsay Post Office temporarily closed, mail rerouted to Wakefield

The Ramsay Post Office sits closed on Friday afternoon due to "structural safety concerns" according to a sign on the door. A regional spokeswoman said the closure is temporary and in the interim, customers with post office boxes at the Ramsay facility will have their mail delivered to the Wakefield Post Office.

RAMSAY - People looking to pick up their mail and do other postal business at the Ramsay Post Office are being re-routed to the Wakefield Post Office.

It's a temporary arrangement for safety reasons, according to Sabrina Todd at the U.S. Postal Service regional office in Grand Rapids.
