Ruth Da Pra

HURLEY, Wis. - Ruth Da Pra, 97, of Hurley, passed away on March 23, 2019, at Villa Maria Health and Rehab Center.

Ruth was born on June 8, 1921, in Oma Township to Arthur and Alice (Jeske) Dietel. She was a good friend to all who knew her and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening, baking and embroidery.

She will be sadly missed by children, Ruth Mose, Peter Moro, David Lee Moro, Alice (Daniel) Leal, Verna "Bunny Lee" Harvey and Roberta Harvey; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Gwen Dietel; sister, Ethel Lindblad and as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claudio "Cocko" Da Pra; daughter, Eva Lou LaMountain; siblings, infant Earl Dietel, Fred (Virginia) Dietel, John Dietel, Delores (Guido) Leoni and Mary (Victor) LaVerdure; and brother-in-law, Harold Lindblad.

Funeral services for Ruth will be on Saturday, March 30, at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Hurley, 204 4th Ave. S. in Hurley, with Rev Don Nickolson officiating. There will be a visitation at the church on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Hurley Cemetery.
