Gabbro Falls

The Black River rushes over Gabbro Falls, near Blackjack Mountain ski hill in Wakefield Township, on a gloomy Monday afternoon. The river was high thanks to the weekend rain and subsequent snowmelt. The melt will likely slow this week as temperatures drop ahead of a potentially major snowstorm Thursday.
