DULUTH, Minn — Darrel J. Palmquist, 72, of Ironwood, passed away unexpectedly at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth on May 13, 2019.
He was born to Robert and Lucille (Laabs) Palmquist on Aug. 8, 1946, in Ironwood, Mich.
Darrel enjoyed hunting, trapping, fishing, and loved animals. He was always there to help a friend or neighbor.
Darrell is survived by Lynn, his wife of 45 years; two sons, Garrett (Katie) Palmquist and Clint (Tiffany Campbell) Palmquist; grandchildren, Alyson, Ryan, and Celeste; his brother, Craig (Linda) Palmquist; his dogs, Harley, Dug, Sky and Lexi; and his cat, Jinx.
