Glen E. Miller

WOODRUFF, Wis. - Glen E. Miller, 70, of Bergland, Mich. passed away on June 26, 2019 at the Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff from complications of lung cancer.

Glen was born on March 1, 1949 to to the late Lee H. Miller and the late Marcella (Crabb) Miller. He has one sister, Nancy (Mike, deceased) Hillier of Bergland, Glen is also survived by his children, Amy (Tom) Livingston, Lynn (Rich) Schaffer, Glen L. (Rosemarie) Miller, Sr., Rebecca (Jared) Thompson, grandchildren, Adrien Livingston, Matthew Livingston, Austin Hasenauer, Isiah Oakgrove, Glen L. Miller, Jr., Marcella Miller, Finley Miller, Liberty Thompson and Cory Thompson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Glen is a graduate of the Ewen High School class of 1967. After high school he served in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1970. He worked at the White Pine Copper Range Company for several years. He enjoyed farming in the summer and working at Timberline Sports of Bergland in the Winter.

Glen enjoyed going to camp, hunting, fishing, trapping, target shooting and participating in the Ontonagon Valley Sportsman Club's annual Turkey Shoot. He especially enjoyed doing these things with his children and grandchildren.

If you did not know Glen as Glen, Dad, Grandpa or Papa G, then you probably knew him as, Partner, Pilgrim or Big Dog.

He will be missed by all that knew him.

Services for Glen will be held on Friday July 5 at the Cane Funeral Home Chapel, Bruce Crossing with visitation starting at 10 a.m. EST. with services starting at noon EST. PastorTed Trudgeon will officiate. Committal will follow immediately after at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Bergland with a luncheon following at the Bergland Ball Park.
