SPRINGSTEAD, Wis. — A Springstead man is dead following a single-vehicle crash Friday.
A passing motorist reported the accident at the intersection of Wisconsin 47 and Wisconsin 182 to the Iron County Sheriff’s Department at approximately 11:10 p.m. Friday, according to Sheriff Paul Samardich, with an unresponsive man at the accident scene.
Deputies — along with the Mercer Ambulance, Sherman First Responders, Sherman Fire Department, and Mercer Fire and Rescue — arriving on the scene found the unresponsive man inside the vehicle.
