IPSD apprehends teen

IRONWOOD — The local teen wanted on a felony warrant has been taken into custody, the Ironwood Public Safety Department has announced on Facebook Sunday.

Haze Mitchell-Gray Reese, 18, agreed to turn himself into local law enforcement and the Gogebic County Sheriff’s Department took him into custody at approximately 12:30 Sunday, according to IPSD Sgt. Matt Sterbenz.

Reese had been wanted on felony charges of breaking and entering a building and receiving and concealing stolen property, according to a post on the IPSD’s Facebook page Friday.

He was arraigned on those two charges in Gogebic County District Court Monday, according to online court records.

Sterbenz said Friday that Reese’s warrant was from “another incident” than those that led to the execution of a pair of search warrants on an Ironwood house last week where stolen items were recovered.
