MARQUETTE, Mich. - Joseph E. Brozzo, 65, of Ironwood died Monday morning, Sept. 9, 2019, at the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette.
He was born June 6, 1954, in Ironwood, a son of the late Lawrence and Mary (Brozzo) Heikkila and was a lifelong resident of the area.
Joe was employed for many years as a truck driver at Steiger's Timber Operations. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and was a jack-of-all-trades.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Brozzo of Ironwood; children, Jamie (Jen) Brozzo of Maplewood, Minn., Brandi Brozzo of Spring Lake Park, Minn., Steven (Jennifer) Brozzo of Gwinn, and Lawrence Brozzo of Wausau, Wis .; stepchildren, Jessica, Joshua and Tamatha Hotchkiss of Ironwood; grandchildren, Cody, Haylee and Wyatt; brother, Jack (Tammy) Brozzo of Bessemer; lifelong friend, Ken Jacobson of Ironwood; and nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held at a later date.
