Robin Marie Tice

MARENISCO, Mich. - Robin Marie Tice, 50, of Marenisco, passed away in her home on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was greeted by her son, Jesse, as she entered into eternal glory with her Savior.

Robin was born on June 30, 1969, in Marinette, Wis., to Tom Hoffman and Judy Price. The family moved to Marenisco in 1970. Robin was a member of the Roosevelt High School Class of 1988, where she enjoyed volleyball and cheerleading.

Robin spent more than 30 years with the love of her life and best friend, Tim Tice, whom she married on March 22, 1991.

Robin worked as a cook most of her life and the last 14 years at the P.I. Pub in Presque Isle, Wis. Her work ethic and dedication were second to none. She loved spending time with her co-workers, who were some of her closest friends.

Her joys in life were her family, especially her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. Robin took great care in making those around her feel loved and special. She loved gardening, flowers, puzzles, cooking and seeing sights in new places. Robin was selfless, always putting others first. She took great care of her mother-in-law, Julie, for the past 10 years until she was unable to do so due to her illness. Robin will be deeply missed by all those who loved and knew her.

She was predeceased by her son, Jesse, on May 16, 2015.

Robin is survived by her husband, Tim; a daughter, Bethany Tice and fiancé, Dennis Hall, both of Rhinelander, Wis .; a son, Daniel, Marenisco; three cherished grandchildren, Gracie Bouvette and Aiden and Sera Johnson; her father, Tom Hoffman, Athelstane, Wis .; her mother, Judy (Dennis) LaTour, Peshtigo, Wis .; her father-in-law, Mike (Janette) Tice, Marenisco; her mother-in-law, Julie Tice, Marenisco; two brothers, Ken Hoffman, Peshtigo, and Paul (Cheryl) Hoffman, Ironwood; a sister, Sue (Jay) Flynn, Ironwood; her brother-in-law, Todd Tice, Memphis, Tenn .; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and special friends, including, Wendy and Nicole Catenacci, both of Escanaba, Ashley Heil, Wakefield, and Jamie Moll, Ironwood.

A celebration of Robin's life will be held Sunday, Nov. 3, at 2 p.m., preceded by visitation at noon, at the Marenisco Town Hall. The Rev. Chips Paulson and Pastor Roy Speck will officiate. A luncheon will follow the service.
