Porkies offers full schedule of events

SILVER CITY — The recent snow storm dumped  12 inches of new snow on the Porcupine Mountain Ski Hill and  mountain manager Bill Perrin said that has helped the  skiing with  all runs open and covered.

Perrin added it will be a busy few months with some major events slated in the next couple of months. One of the newer events will be the guided Snow Shoe Hike on Jan. 11, 18, 25,  and Feb. 1, 15 and 22.  Hikers will take a free chairlift ride to the top of the hill and then snowshoe down.
