Richard 'Bud' Baker

SUGAR CAMP, Wis. — Richard “Bud” Baker, 75, a resident of Sugar Camp passed away on Monday, Nov. 25, 2019, at Seasons of Life.

He was born in Marenisco, Michigan, on May 27, 1944, to Richard and Nellie Baker. Bud was an avid deer hunter.

Bud was proceeded in death by his brothers, Jerry Baker and Gordon “Sonny” Baker; sister, Iris Perala; son, Richard D. Baker III; daughter, Kristina Baker; and nieces, Ellie Krueger and Julie Baker.

He survived by his best friend and significant other, Judy Blattler of Rhinelander; daughter, Sue Ann Baker of Rhinelander; and son, Robert Baker of Watson, Illinois. He is also survived by his former wife, Ladonna S. Baker of Olney, Illinois; and their four adult children, Denise (Charles) Coffey of Newton, Illinois, Kerry (Arletha) Baker of Watson, Kevin (Noreen) Baker of Newton, Illinois, and Mary Sue Cline of Fairfield, Illinois. Other survivors include, 18 grandchildren; a brother, Lester (Joanne) Baker of Wisconsin; many nieces and nephews, and one favorite niece in particular, Anna (Arthur) Thew Baker.

There will be a grave side service in the spring at the Marenisco Cemetery to lay Bud to rest.
