Glen Hill

BESSEMER, Mich. - Glen Hill, 60, a lifelong resident of Bessemer, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020, at his home.

Glen was born on June 16, 1959, in Wakefield, a son of Lloyd and Marilyn (Jacisin) Hill. He graduated from A.D. Johnston High School in 1979. Glen was a loving and caring son and brother. He was always willing to share and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Over the years, Glen worked a number of odd jobs. He also worked at Thielman Lumber Company, Bessemer Plywood Corporation and Ottawa Forest Products.

Glen was a faithful member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church, where he often served as an usher.

He also partook in numerous outdoor activities, and in particular, enjoyed snowshoeing and going for long walks. Glen enjoyed all sports and rooting for his favorite teams. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

Survivors include his father, Lloyd; a sister, Susan, Bessemer; two brothers, Dennis, Wakefield, and Ray, Dover, New Hampshire. He is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Glen was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn, Dec. 28, 2012.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date.
