HURLEY, Wis. — Patricia Sargent, 72, of Hurley, passed away on May 10, 2020, at Sky View Nursing Center in Hurley.

She was born on Nov. 14, 1947, the daughter of Edward and Virginia (Dahlin) Sargent. She was a lifetime resident of Hurley and attended local schools. She worked as an administrative assistant for the Public Health Department.

Patricia was a member of the Church of the Transfiguration in Ironwood. She was very active in her church and was a lay reader, lay preacher, lay eucharistic minister, and president of the Episcopal women’s group. She was also secretary for the local chapter of the AARP. She enjoyed needlework, ceramics, and helping elderly people.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Virginia Sargent; sister, Judy Lundgren; and brother, Billy Sargent.

Patricia is survived by her sisters, Karen Hantula of Hurley and Mary (Joseph) Armata of Mequon; brother, Mark (Lynn) Sargent of Wauwatosa; brother-in-law, Tommy Lundgren of Hurley; nieces, Brenda and Barbara Hantula both of Milwaukee, Carrie Ann (Marty) Hersh of Glendale and Denise Sargent of Roberts; nephews, Chad of Hurley, Ryan of Milwaukee and Eric (Nicole) of Eau Claire; and great-nephews, Ben and Josh.

At Patricia’s request, there will be no service.
