Elizabeth Ann Cvengros

SAXON, Wis. - Elizabeth Ann Cvengros, 58, of Saxon, passed away Friday, Sept. 4, 2020. She was born on Aug. 28, 1962, in Ironwood, Michigan.

She married John Martilla in 1980 and they had one child, Angella Paulson, in 1978. Elizabeth later met and fell in love with Thomas "Nitro" Knight in 1994, who has been by her side for 26 years.

She worked various jobs throughout her life and was mostly known for being artistic and creative. Elizabeth had excellent crafting and sewing abilities. She could make almost anything into a treasured keepsake. She enjoyed helping create and making decorations for all her loved one's weddings and important events. She always made the best Christmas ornaments and gifts.

Elizabeth leaves behind her fiancé, Thomas "Nitro" Knight; her daughter, Angella (Tim Zanella) Paulson; her grandkids, Leesa Paulson and Aaron Paulson; her great-grandchild, Michael Paulson; and her sisters, Lynn (Steve) Binz, Hurley, Mary Conley, Ironwood, Paula Annonson, Hurley, and Sue (Kenny) Rozelle, Hurley. She also leaves behind aunts and uncles; many nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; cousins; and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John "Jack" and Dolores (LaVerdure) Cvengros; siblings, Thomas Robert "Snuffy" Cvengros and William "Bill" Sordahl; her grandparents, Stephen and Erma (Packmeyer) Cvengros, and Victor and Mary (Deitel) LaVerdure; her uncle, Robert Cvengros; her aunts, Virginia Kivi, Phillis Kivi and Debbie LaVerdure; as well as cousins, Robert Cvengros and Kathy (Cvengros) Halverson; her son-in-law, Marvin Paulson; and a great-nephew, Colton Demar.

Elizabeth was best described as being giving, loving, kind, brave and creative. She loved her family and friends deeply and would always help anyone in need. She leaves a legacy of love to all who knew her. She enjoyed crafting and making things for others, helping people and growing beautiful flower gardens.

At her request, no service will be held. However, her family plans to have a private celebration of her life.
