MARQUETTE, Mich. - William James Miles, 54, of Ramsay, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020, at U.P. Health System-Marquette as a result of an automobile accident.

He was born Jan. 16, 1966, in Troy, New York, a son of Gerald and Katherine (Herring) Miles.

William married Caroleen Vance on April 16, 1993, in Plant City, Florida.

He was employed for years as a welder and fabricator. His interests included singing, fishing and exploring nature.

He is survived by his wife, Caroleen Miles of Ramsay; children, Kristy, Blain and Lee; grandchildren, Trista, Alexis, Melody, Britynn, Braxton and Blakelynn; six grandchildren; and siblings, Mary, Jerry and Pearl. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Honoring William's request, there will be no services at this time.
