Ontonagon school board praises Bobula

ONTONAGON — The Ontonagon Area School Board rated Superintendent Jim Bobula as “highly effective” after an evaluation following a special board meeting Monday.

The evaluation was conducted using the Michigan Association of School’s Superintendent Evaluation Instrument.

“Jim Bobula’s financial stewardship, especially during this time of COVID 19, have proven to be outstanding. Under Jim’s guidance, the district continues to move forward, in spite of the challenges during the pandemic,” the board said in a written statement.
