Loralee Radowski

RAMSAY, Mich. — Loralee Radowski, 70, a longtime resident of Ramsay, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 15, 2021.

Loralee was born on Oct. 27, 1950, in Wakefield, the daughter of Kathleen (Kubiak) and Eli Miljevich Jr. She attended Wakefield High School and graduated in 1968. After high school, she went to the School of Beauty in Duluth, Minnesota. After completion of beauty school, Loralee returned to Wakefield where she worked for a local beauty salon in Bessemer for two years before she opened and operated Curls N Swirls in Bessemer for the next 48 years.

On June 19, 1971, Loralee was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Roger Radowski, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wakefield. They made their home in Ramsay and they were blessed with a son, Blane.

In Loralee’s spare time, she loved traveling with close friends and family. Many who knew her knew she loved the atmosphere, lights, shows and music of the slots of Las Vegas. “Fix the hair and put the lips on!” We will forever hear. She was truly one of a kind with a heart of gold and giving soul.

She was blessed with two grandsons, Noah and Sawyer. Her grandsons were her “angels” and her life. She lived for her boys. Now grandma will forever be their angel.

Loralee, a beloved child of God, you were a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, an aunt and a special friend to many. We will miss you dearly, more than words can say.

Loralee is survived by a son, Blane (Ashley), Wakefield; two grandsons, Noah and Sawyer, both of Wakefield; her mother, Kathleen Miljevich, Wakefield; a brother, Michael (Janet) Miljevich, Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin; two sisters-in-law, Renee Radowski, Wakefield, and Rachelle (Michael) Egan, Glendale, Arizona; and a nephew, Joseph Egan, Glendale.

She was preceded in death by her father, Eli; her husband, Roger, on Jan. 9, 2015; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Katie Radowski; and a brother-in-law, Dennis Dean Radowski, in infancy.

The family is honoring her life in a private Mass of Christian Burial.

Rite of Committal and interment will take place at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Jerald Rocco, owner and manager of Lakeside Memorial Chapel Inc., in Wakefield. Condolences may be expressed online at lakesidememorialchapel.com.
