MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Edward Zarecki passed away on Dec. 18, 2020, at the age of 90. He was born and raised in Bessemer, Michigan, and always considered Bessemer to be his true home.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elisabeth; and sisters, Caroline and Ruth.

He is survived by daughter, Rita (John); grandchildren, Elizabeth, Matthew, Kathryn and Mary; great-granddaughter, Sophie; and sister, Agnes (Ron, deceased). He is further survived by his brother-in-law Andy (Ruth’s husband); and family and friends.

A memorial Mass was celebrated at the Basilica of St. Josaphat in Milwaukee. Entombment was held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee.
