IRONWOOD — The Ironwood City Commission on Monday approved demolitions and scheduled public hearings to address inaction on other dilapidated properties.
The commission authorized advertisements to bid for the demolition of a residential dwelling at 400 E. Tamarack St. The structure is already under public ownership and the city has access to the property, according to Scott Erickson, city manager.
“It’s in disrepair with holes in the roof and needs to be demolished,” Erickson said.
