BRUCE CROSSING, Mich. - Kevin James Laubenstein Jr., age 20, passed away Oct. 5, 2021, with his family by his side, due to injuries sustained from a tragic accident on Oct. 2, 2021.

Kevin was born Sept. 4, 2001, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to Shanon and Kevin Laubenstein Sr.

Kevin Jr. enjoyed the outdoors especially mud running in his "Dirtymax" as he called it. He also loved his family and would sometimes push his sisters in the right direction, on occasion, a little further than they would like. This was a young man that would do anything for anyone, even if he didn't know them. Kevin Jr. also loved to spend time with the family dog, Chubbie, and playing with him every chance he had.

Kevin was a 2020 COVID graduate of Ewen-Trout Creek School and moved on to work for Stix & Stones Construction, where he enjoyed his job and co-workers very much.

Kevin Jr. is survived by his parents Shanon and Kevin Laubenstein Sr .; sisters, Dakota Stascak and Sierra Laubenstein; along with Chubbie, the family dog. He is further survived by his paternal grandmother, Ida Laubenstein; aunts and uncles, Mark (Lisa) Olson, Lucinda (Brandon Smith) Stascak, Allen (Sheila) Laubenstein Jr., and Carla (Bill) Crouse; along with many cousins and friends.

Kevin is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mary (Farris) Richert and Lawrence Stascak; paternal grandfather ,Allen (Murphy) Laubenstein; along with his two aunts, Lisa Laubenstein and Tanya Laubenstein.

In lieu of a funeral, there will be a celebration of life held for Kevin Jr. at Twilly's Sports Bar and Grill in Bruce Crossing, on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 1 to 6 p.m. Eastern Time, for anyone who would like to come share their memories with the family or hear memories that others have of this amazing young man.
