MARQUETTE, Mich. — George T. LaBlonde Jr., 83, of Marquette, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, Oct. 29, 2021, at his home. He was surrounded by his loving family and under the care of U.P. Home Health and Hospice.
George’s family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Marquette. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. in the church with Rev. Chad Ott officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, in Ironwood, in the spring.
Canale-Tonella Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family and plans to release a full obituary in Saturday’s edition of the paper.
