Ironwood Area Schools holds a Christmas assembly for kindergarteners to 12th graders in the John Krenarich Gym on Wednesday. The event was open to the public and parents' cars filled the school parking lot and spilled over to Curry and Ayer streets. K-4 music teacher Darin Schmidt directs the fourth-grade choir in singing "Silent Night" in Finnish and English.
