MARION, Iowa - Margaret "Maggie" Viola Lanning, was born Dec. 4, 1930, to Ivar and Emmy Peterson, in Bessemer, Michigan, and died Dec. 16, 2021, in Marion, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by one sister, three brothers, and twin infant sons.
She is survived by five children, Cile Nabers (Mark) of San Antonio, Texas, Scott Lanning (Sue Lewis) of Hubbard, Oregon, Joyce "Tina" Dietzgen of Marion, Laurence "Larry" Lanning (Marie) of Bessemer, and Greg Kennedy (Elvie) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; three grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She will be missed.
