SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. - Battista "Sonny" Calvetti, age 72, of Sun Prairie and formerly of Hurley, died on Sunday, June 12, 2022, with his loving wife, Amy, by his side. Sonny was born on March 1, 1950, to Eugene "Gene" and Antoinette "Toni" Calvetti.
Sonny spent several years in education and coaching, and prior to his retirement in 2014, he worked for the state of Wisconsin's Department of Workforce Development.
His wife, Amy, survives him, along with his uncle, Richard "Dick," and aunt, Kathleen "June" Calvetti; aunt, Irene (David) Rautio; several cousins; his sister-in-law, Cassie (Shawn) Lincoln; and nephew, Zayne Lincoln (Isabell Malicoat). In addition, Sonny has a sibling, Jeanne (Paul) Flateau, and their children, Jesse (Patricia) Flateau and Pam (Doug) Ihlenfeldt and their families.

A private entombment will be at the Massucco-Calvetti Mausoleum in Hurley.
