WOODLANDS, Texas - Carolyn J. (Carlson) Jensen, age 85, of the Woodlands, Texas, formally of Anoka, Minnesota and Bessemer, Michigan, died on Friday, Sept. 24, 2021, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Hazel; son, Christopher; and father, Leonard.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Kevin) Austin; her beloved grandson, Anthony; many dear friends, extended family members and the caregivers who lovingly cared for her the past 4 years.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 19, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Oakdale, Minnesota.

She will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Cemetery in Bessemer.
