Construction work of Francis Street in Ironwood appears well underway on Tuesday. Workers from Jake's Excavating and Landscaping LLC will rebuild the street from Greenbush to Lowell streets with new curbs, gutters and sidewalks. City Engineer Scott Erickson that U.S. 2 Business Route will be closed during construction.
