Larry 'Hat' Grabowski

MERCER, Wis. - Larry "Hat" Grabowski, of Mercer, passed away on Sept. 25, 2022, at Minocqua Health and Rehab Center.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Grabowski of Mercer; and his nephew, Kevin Grabowski and family, of Pewaukee.

Larry wrote this poem many years ago and kept it in his Bible.

"One Minute"

If I could have lived only one minute more,

I would have reminisced about the good

Not the should-have's, I will's, Maybe's, or I won't's.

In that minute, I would remember days, months or years

Times that I was scared and you held me close because you cared

Or telling you I loved you one last time.

I was all that mattered to you.

You were all that mattered to me.

Soulmates forever, me and you.

But one more day, month, year or minute to live,

I have not.
